Collabiorative Research programme

Development of Optical solar Reflectors (OSR’s) for ISRO.  These OSR’s are passive thermal controlled devices on the main body of satellites.  They are used on the surfacing sides of space craft and reflect incoming solar radiation whilst simultaneously radiating internally generated heat.

Development of Hard transparent protective coating for Tribological application of measuring film thickness and friction co-efficient of the lubricants for TCS Instruments – UK.

Development of Gold Impact Sensors for DRDL – These sensors are for infrared application of missile domes.  This finds application only in defence.
